Balasubramanian.S is the Executive Director & Chief Operating Officer of Indian Machine Tool Manufacturers’ Association (IMTMA) and Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC).  IMTMA is the apex industry association for machine tools in India and BIEC is India’s preferred exhibition centre for engineering and industrial exhibitions.

Balasubramanian has been associated with IMTMA since 2007 and is leading its flagship machine tool exhibition IMTEX.  He has played a pivotal role in taking IMTEX to next level besides supporting the association to introduce new shows in various regions of the country.  He heads sales, marketing, facility, operations and corporate communications within the association and plays an enabling role for the brand building of trade fairs and BIEC.

He comes with more than two decades of rich experience in exhibition industry.  Prior to joining IMTMA he was associated with Informa group - Singapore, INTECH Exhibitions, Wisitex Foundation.  Presently is the Executive Committee member of Indian Exhibition Industry Association (IEIA).
