Mr. Varun Sood is Assistant Vice President- Invest India, the national investment promotion and facilitation agency of India. Invest India is envisaged to be the first point of reference for potential investors and its team of domain and functional experts provide sector-and state-specific inputs, and hand-holding support to investors through the entire investment cycle, from pre-investment decision-making to after-care.Invest India is, promoted by Department of Industrial Policy & Promotion (DIPP), Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. All facilitation and hand-holding support to investors under the “Make in India” program are being provided by Invest India.

In his role as AVP Invest India, he is responsible for leading Investments into the Tourism & Wellness Sector. Mr Sood has a broad experience in managing business development, performance improvement, business finance and planning, process re-engineering, and capacity building with particular expertise in: Technology, Telecom, Tourism, Change Management, Risk Advisory and Strategy Formulation. Mr Sood has a strong academic foundation with a specialization in Finance & Strategy, coupled with professional experiences in Asia, Africa, America and Europe.
