The MSME Development Forum hosted the 8th India International MSME Start-up Expo 2022 at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi. Manoj Sinha, Jammu and Kashmir Lt Governor inaugurated the International MSME Expo, Trade Fair, and Summit. He stated that the MSME sector has changed significantly over the last eight years, and that the new resilience, competitiveness, and strength of MSMEs will make India the preferred location for manufacturing worldwide. He went on to add that the three most important factors for MSME sustainable growth are productivity, connectivity, and standardization.

The event was organized around five key themes for the development and growth of the MSME industry. This event provided the best platform for SMEs, startups, the trade industry, and service providers to exhibit their products/services in order to find new business opportunities, markets, ideas, buyers, sellers, and so on. This event has brought together many government bodies and organizations. Many stalls of MSMEs and other stakeholders from Jammu and Kashmir, Madhya Pradesh, and Uttar Pradesh displayed their local products.
