Asia’s largest international food and hospitality fair, ‘AAHAAR 2022’ organized by the Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority in association with Indian Trade Promotion Organization was held from April 26-30, 2022, at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi. More than 80 exporters from various agricultural product segments, including geographical indication products, processed food, organic, and frozen food products, participated in the event.

The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT), Government of India facilitated the setting up of Geographical Indications (GI) Pavilion where 25 GI products were showcased. The exhibition gave industry stakeholders an opportunity to showcase Indian tradition, culture and enterprising activities. 

Products such as Sangli raisins and Solapur pomegranate from Maharasthra, Erode Manjal turmeric from Tamil Nadu, Navara rice and Palakkadan Matta from Kerala, Bandar Laddu from Andhra Pradesh displayed at the exhibition were well received by the visitors.
