Indiaās MICE tourism is booming, boosting the tourism industry. India ranks 26th in the US$ 280 billion worldwide conference sector, according to the International Congress and Conference Association (ICCA).
The Global Business Travel Association (GBTA) reports that Indiaās MICE industry is crucial to business travel and tourism, growing 11.4 percent annually, the highest among the top 15 global markets. KPMG expects Indiaās US$ 30 billion corporate travel industry to treble by 2030.
According to Honāble Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, conference tourism has great potential for India, noting conference attendeesā large spending.
