The International Sourcing Exposition for Elevators and Escalators (ISEE) was held at Bombay Exhibition Centre, Goregaon, Mumbai, from December 1-3, 2022. The maiden event was organized by TAK Expo Pvt Ltd and drew over 14,000 visitors and 150 international and domestic exhibitors over three days. The event’s Chief Guest, Dr Niranjan Hiranandani, a real estate magnate, advised the elevator and escalator industry to focus on the four Ss - Safety, Sustainability, Speed, and Service - in order to be globally competitive and successful.

Aside from the participation of major elevator manufacturers, the hi-tech products shown at the stalls by members of the ‘Elevators and Escalators Components Manufacturers’ Association of India (EECMAI) piqued the interest of business visitors. In addition, several knowledge-sharing workshops and seminars covering various elevator and industry-related challenges were held in the Conference Hall. The Expo also served as the official debut platform for three new hi-tech products at the APSON, ARKEL, and WITTUR exhibits. One of the Expo’s breakthrough products was arguably the world’s fastest elevator motor.
