Messe Muenchen India Doubles Down on Mumbai with Expanded Office Space

Messe Muenchen India has expanded its Mumbai headquarters across two full floors, marking a significant scale-up from what was originally planned as a five-year workspace solution β€” a target the company outgrew in just two years. The inauguration was led by Christoph Hallier, Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany in Mumbai, with exhibitors, industry partners, and employees in attendance for the milestone.

The move reflects the company's sharp growth trajectory in India: business has more than doubled since 2023, with 2026 alone projected to generate more revenue than its first 15 years in the country combined. Exhibition space across its shows has grown over 70% in the same period, and headcount is up more than 40%, as the company now runs a portfolio of 28 trade fairs spanning electronics, construction, environmental technology, logistics, lab technology, agriculture, photonics, and energy.

The upgraded workspace has been designed to encourage greater collaboration, innovation, and operational efficiency as the organization continues to expand its portfolio of international trade fairs across diverse industry sectors. With enhanced facilities and increased capacity, the new office is expected to provide an improved working environment for employees while enabling the company to better serve exhibitors, visitors, partners, and industry stakeholders.
