PM Modi Inaugurates Rudraksh in Varanasi

Recently Narendra Modi, Honโ€™ble Prime Minister of India inaugurated Rudraksh, an International Cooperation and Convention Centre built with Japanese support in Varanasi. While addressing the delegates at the inaugural ceremony, the Prime Minister highlighted that Rudraksh was a product of creativity and dynamism shown by Indian and Japanese administrations.

He further added that Japan has solidly remained as one of Indiaโ€™s most trusted friends and both the countries have been working closely in strategic and economic spheres. The opening of the state-of-the-art Rudraksh, which is a blend of modernity and Indiaโ€™s cultural tradition, opens a new chapter in Indo-Japan bilateral relationship. Rudraksh will catapult Varanasi as a leading destination for conferences and promote the growth of tourism.
The two-storey convention centre built in an area of 2.87 hectares of land has a seating capacity of 1,200 people with a roof that is designed in the form of a Shivalinga. The venue is ideal for holding international conferences, exhibitions, music concerts and other events.
