Print-n-Pack 2022 in Madurai Boosts the Printing Industry
‘Print-n-Pack 2022’ organized by Madurai District Tiny and Small Scale Industries Association (MADITSSIA) is being held from August 11-14 at Ida Scudder auditorium in Velammal Medical College Hospital, Madurai. The exhibition’s major goal is to bring the most recent technology and equipment to the southern districts. The show would feature approximately 125 stall holders from across India, and seminars on various themes would be held as part of the exhibition for the benefit of the participants.
The 8th edition of the printing and packaging fair will be organized in association with MSME Development Institute (Ministry of MSME); Directorate of Industries and Commerce, Chennai; Tamil Nadu Small Industries Development Corporation; Tamil Nadu Entrepreneurship and Innovation Institute; Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI); All India Federation of Master Printers; Tamil Nadu Master Printers Association; Sivakasi Master Printers Association; Madurai Printers Association; and Madurai District Offset Printers Association.
According to L Ramanathan, Exhibition Chairman, the inaugural edition of the event was conducted in 1996, and successive editions of the expo offered a boost to Madurai’s printing sector. The printing sector has developed from 200 units in the southern district in 1996 to 20,000 units today, and Madurai district alone has more than 200 units.
