Reed Sinopharm Exhibitions, the joint venture between Reed Exhibitions and the Sinopharm Group has acquired majority stakes in China Hospital Construction Conference (CHCC).

CHCC is Asia’s leading event in comprehensive and innovative solutions for hospital design, build and management, spanning over 100,000 sq mt featuring over 600 exhibitors and 16 themed displays. 

CHCC also produces over 80 conference sessions and offers excellent learning opportunities, knowledge sharing and information exchange for over 10,000 hospital designers and managers every year.

Speaking on the acquisition, Hugh Jones, CEO, Reed Exhibitions, said that adding CHCC brand to Reed Sinopharm Exhibitions’ will bring Reed’s expertise in face-to-face and virtual experiences, global reach, and resources, to bear on CHCC. 

Supporting Jones’s views, Michael Cheng, CEO, Reed Exhibitions China welcomed the CHCC team to the family and said that the development would enhance the show and add value to CHCC audience.
