SEMICON India 2026 to showcase India’s fast growing Semiconductor Ecosystem

SEMICON India returns for its fifth edition from 17–19 September 2026 at Yashobhoomi (India International Convention & Expo Centre), Dwarka, New Delhi, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi set to inaugurate the event on opening day. Held under the theme “Silicon to Systems: Building the Ecosystem,” the event is jointly organised by the India Semiconductor Mission (ISM) under the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology in partnership with SEMI bringing together global semiconductor and electronics companies, policymakers, investors, researchers, startups and industry professionals.

This year’s edition is shaping up to be the largest SEMICON India yet, with the exhibition expanding nearly 30% over the previous edition and expected to draw 500+ exhibitors from more than 20 countries, alongside 150+ speakers. More than 240 international companies and delegations from over 40 countries are anticipated overall with six country pavilions - Japan, South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Germany and Netherlands - sitting alongside 10 State Government Pavilions showcasing state level semiconductor initiatives.

The programme spans the full value chain: chip design, wafer fabrication, assembly and testing, advanced packaging, semiconductor materials and equipment, electronics manufacturing, AI, high-performance computing and quantum technologies. A new “Value Chain Experience” will present these segments as one connected ecosystem, while sessions will dig into SEMICON 2.0, next-generation manufacturing, packaging, AI, data centres, and automotive and power semiconductors alongside workforce development initiatives and hackathons designed to bring industry, government, academia and startups onto the same platform.

For India’s exhibition industry, SEMICON India’s continued growth at Yashobhoomi reflects the increasing pull of sector-specific, government-backed platforms and reinforces New Delhi's growing standing as a venue for large scale global technology and industrial events.
