UP International Trade Show 2026: Uttar Pradesh strengthens its position as a Global Sourcing Hub
31,650 B2B meetings, exhibitors from 88 countries. Those numbers came out of last year’s UPITS and they set a fairly high bar for what’s coming this September, when the 4th Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show returns to the India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida, from 25–29 September 2026. Jointly organised by the Government of Uttar Pradesh and India Exposition Mart Ltd., the show has become one of the state’s biggest platforms for putting its industrial capabilities, manufacturing base, traditional products and export potential in front of the world.
This year’s edition runs under the theme “UP for Global Growth: Innovation, Manufacturing, and Exports,” and the sector list reads almost like a cross-section of the state’s economy - One District One Product (ODOP), electronics and IT, agriculture, textiles and handicrafts, pharmaceuticals, renewable energy, automobiles and electric vehicles, tourism and hospitality, food processing, sports goods and packaging all find a place on the floor. The show is structured around three buyer categories- international, domestic B2B and domestic B2C - giving it room to serve sourcing needs, partnership-building and market expansion all at once.
There’s a genuine international layer to this edition too. Austria, Japan, Russia, Singapore and Vietnam are all coming on board as partner countries, a sign of Uttar Pradesh’s growing push to connect its enterprises with buyers well beyond the domestic market.
What’s worth watching for India’s wider exhibition industry is what UPITS represents beyond its own numbers: a working example of how a state-organised trade show can double as export infrastructure - supporting MSMEs, opening international market access, and giving regional manufacturing a genuine global shopfront. If this edition builds on the last one, Greater Noida’s standing as a serious destination for large scale trade exhibitions only gets stronger.
