Middle East’s leading exhibition for polyurethane industry ‘UTECH Middle East/Africa Foam & Polyurethane Expo’ organized by Crain Communications and Media Fusion has been rescheduled for next year. The expo will now be held from February 22-24, 2022, in Dubai, concurrently with Sleep Expo Middle East and Adhesives and Sealants & Bonding Expo.

UTECH trade show director Debbie Hershfield said that the vaccination drive across the world is gaining momentum. Rescheduling the event will provide a space of three extra months for travel restrictions to ease further and encourage more international participation. 

Hershfield added that holding the trade show in Dubai will help the brand to enhance its presence in the Middle East and African regions.

Polyurethane is widely used by many industries such as manufacturers of automotive interiors, medical devices, textiles, furniture and footwear as well as for insulation, adhesives and coatings. The show will be of strategic importance for industries in Algeria, Egypt, Ethiopia, and India, countries in the Gulf Cooperation Council, Kenya, Morocco, Nigeria, Pakistan, and Turkey.
